It's Halloween 2020. And thanks to COVID, the scariest Halloween ever. In fact, the only masks people were clamoring for were labeled “surgical grade.” Halloween was officially cancelled until Zimmerman stepped in with “You Boo You”— a rallying cry for would-be Trick-or-Treaters to celebrate safely and in a way that's all their own. We delivered a fully-integrated and interactive campaign which made Halloween
not-so-scary for customers and so-very-successful for Party City. In fact, the campaign outperformed the planned goal of $374 million by 22%, for $458 million in sales, a $23.6 holistic ROAS. Impressions = 2.9 billion. Web Clicks = 30.8 billion. Additionally, it garnered 9.6 million store visits, making it one of the most successful Halloween campaigns in the company's history. In short: invisible characters = highly visible results.
